Spend your first day in the scenic Tallinn Old Town that is well-preserved with the medieval and Hanseatic architecture. The narrow cobbled alleys and towering spires of the Old Town will definitely bring you back to the 16th centuries and give you an unforgettable experience.

Always try to begin your travel journey by going to the highest viewing platform as this allows you to have a clear grasp of the town layout and you could navigate better for the rest of the day. For Tallinn Old Town, the best place for panoramic view is the Kohtuotsa Viewing Platform

Try to visit the viewing platform at the night too as the night scenery is quite awesome.

After visiting the viewing platform, you could just walk around the Old Town aimlessly. This is because there is always something interesting for you to discover at every corners of the Old Town. Otherwise, you could visit the main attractions: Viru Gate, Hellemann Tower and Town Wall Walkway, Kiek in de Kok museum, the Freedom Square and the War of the Indepence Victory Column.
